Eleanor Widener Dixon was an American socialite and philanthropist. She was the daughter of George Dunton Widener and Eleanor Elkins Widener, both of whom perished aboard the Titanic in 1912. Eleanor Widener Dixon was also aboard the Titanic at the time of the disaster, but she survived. In her later years, she became involved in philanthropy, particularly in the fields of education and music. She passed away in 1976 at the age of 87.
